How I Mate You Are Mandali

We at Madness Mandali keep getting asked how we came together, why we came together, why we came up with the idea of a visual poetry book and will the nanga naach ever stop?

Aavar pagal phellow Hari Chakyar a.k.a. Nature Baba a.k.a. the guy who drew and wrote this kaumik decided to answer these koschins once and for all.

First Look: KaviKala (Coming This November)

Ram Ram Mandali!

Firstly we are very very overjaaied with the love that Mandali has been receiving from you peepalz and even the media. If we could describe how much joy we have it would look something like this ossum dance routine from this video:

Pictured: Exact Reaction

As you also know, over the last couple of weeks we've been slowly but surely building up the momentum as we head closer and closer to the release of our first book of Visual Poetry titled KaviKala - (the name was suggested by our dear Maavshi, Mrs. Suranga Date)

What's that you say? You don't know we're coming out with a book this November? Seriously? You mean you didn't see it when Suresh 'Sir, I Made Lakhs' Kalmadi assured the world on Facebook and Twitter that this would be a World-Class book? Okay fine, we admit that may have not been the smartest decision on our part, but seeing how everyone started to say good things about the CWG village after a few pics 'showed up on FB' we thought it was worth a shot.

Accha chalo, did you saw when Genelia (who is also Kabhi Kabhi referred to as Aditi) said we're rare, na? Nahi?

That mince ke you are as oblivious to aavar book as an #Amit is about the South of India (See now we're even dropping them cool hashtags!)

Fikar not. The very ossum people from Afternoon Despatch & Courier (Not a courier service, as aavar middiya-parson Hari Chak(Norris)Yar would say!), have featured us in their newspaper today which you can read here

But since website links are web 1.0; we have for you an awesome Issuu version of the article complete with Topless Mermaids and a joke about that guy who burned copies of that novel which was on the syllabus of Mumbai University.

Now if that's not what you call SEO then Veena Malik and Ashmit Patel's upcoming affair on Bigg Boss 4 is totally not scripted!

Okay so it looks like we've covered every trending topic for today, so without further ado, here's the awesome article in Afternoon about our upcoming book KaviKala!

Okthnxbai!

Nutty No-Rhymes by Suranga Date

Here's a little poem sent to us by Suranga Date on the Madness Mandali Visual Poetry Project Poster designed by our very own Mira Malhotra.

Sensational
in orange,
Tickled pink,
Ideas just bubble forth,
like milk
boiling on simmer.....

Add some
squishy raisins,
stiff upper lip
cashews,
alliterative almonds,
preening pistachios,
supercilious kanjoos
saffron strands,
sit in a
Padmaasan,
enjoying
the Mad book,
like a
perfect payasam....
but Aiyyo !
Padmavati,
where the hell are my glasses ?
